My dog was OK with having this mixed into her wet food (which we had switched to from kibble after dental surgery per our vet's recommendation); however, the wet food was giving her loose stools, so we had to switch back to kibble. Unfortunately, mixing this powder with kibble didn't work as well, as the powder tended to drift to the bottom of the food bowl, and my dog just ate around the powder. We weren't able to use this mixed with wet food long enough to determine whether or not this was helpful to our dog's gut health; if your dog is already on a wet-food diet and tolerates that well, then this might be helpful for him or her.

Good stuff so far. I mix it with warm water to make a broth for my dog’s frozen treat toys, and he really likes it. I can’t personally speak to the health benefits yet, but my picky puppy approves, and that’s a win. Easy to use, smells decent, and adds nice flavor to his enrichment treats.

While I did not order this product to cure any immediate lumps or bumps providing a dose to my pet Chihuahua's nightly wet food has improved his dandruff immensely, and added sheen to his coat. His energy level is up; usually he does not like to go on walks and would sit down in the driveway until he realized he had no other option. Twoish months into the introduction of the mushroom powder to his food and he has been waiting by the door for walks. The ingredients are solid and I am on course to have one package last 5 months with an 8lb Deer Face Chihuahua.

Bone broth is great for your dog, and this powder is convenient to use. You just measure according to your dog's weight, and it can be used as a topper on dried or wet food. I have two picky eaters, so they have days where it can be hit or miss whether they will eat their food with the bone broth on it. Why that is, I don't know, unless they are trying to hold out for something better...lol. This has added turmeric to it, which, since I make all their food homemade, I add this anyway, but turmeric is very good for dogs.I've noticed no diarrhea or any other untoward effects since they've been on this. I have two small Pekingese, and so their portions are quite small, but if you had a larger dog, I would say this could get expensive. You can make your own bone broth; however, there is the convenience factor of this one being in powder form, so it is easy to use.

Doing some checking into the ingredients I have learned more than I had hoped for about this really useful blend of quality ingredients. I have been using it for a few days on my senior cat who is showing early signs of benefitting from it though this is going to take some time for her body to absorb what has been missing in her diet. Her dry pet food is very high quality but as an older girl supplements are useful to improve health and wellness.I would like to mention the list of ingredients like the Mushrooms specifically are really amazing.Lion's Main is known for helping with memory, healing the nervous system and cognitive function.Red Reishi is really a multipurpose mushroom for inflammation, allergies, sleep, liver health and cardiovascular.Turkey Tail is good for improving chronic fatigue, liver function, and boosting the immune system.Maitake is wonderful for helping to balance blood sugar issues, cholesterol, blood pressure, healing post chemo and immune system recovery.Shiitake is beneficial for being an anti-viral anti-microbial, liver functions, cholesterol and even helpful with candida.Chaga aids digestion, has antioxidants in it, also helps with inflammation, and detoxification.Oyster Mushroom is another immunity helper, has Vit D plus Iron and is useful as an anti-inflammatory.Poria helps with inflammation, relaxation, sleep, fluid retention, a natural diuretic and memory.Rosemary in almost any form is an anti viral and also helps promote hair growth.Brewers Yeast is soo wonderful for soft and silky coats and over all mood improvement as well as healthy skin to avoid them feeling itchy.Orchid powder is great for calmness, respiratory health, moods, hydration for the skin and lots of other things which its usually added to beauty products since its very gentle.My cat has enjoyed it so far and due to her being below the 25 pounds on the user guide I will need to mix a smaller portion than a full scoop. This is a very finely ground powder with nice flavor and smells good. The larger size will last a very long time for small pets like cats and toy breed dogs. As for larger animals this might not go as far but its still a wonderful supplement and a solid value for what it is. Each serving is based on the pet's weight and comes with a plastic scoop inside. The jar measures at 3.75 H x 3.75 W and product volume for the product inside is 8.8 oz. Not suggested for pets under 3 months of age.
